NATH was established as a Wisconsin corporation on August 14, 2009 and is an IRS registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

NATH is committed to ending and preventing homelessness. This corporation exists to provide safe housing and basic needs to families and individuals who are homeless, within an atmosphere of encouragement, respect, dignity and hope, while nurturing and promoting self-sufficiency and independence.

NATH also promotes public awareness of homelessness by partnering with Northwood’s resource agencies and by educating the communities in our service area. NATH’s service area includes Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Oneida and Vilas Counties.

NATH and Frederick Place have established cooperative working relationships with community partners through a regional continuum of care and via outreach to faith communities, social service agencies, educational institutions, health care facilities, local law enforcement and other human service organizations. Partnering resources will share collaborative information in order to minimize duplication of services while assisting Frederick Place residents to work toward independent housing goals.
