Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.
Just go to www.geocaching.com and sign up for free. All ages will enjoy this ever growing outdoor activity. It’s a great way to learn about the area. There are 90 caches in the Conover area so come on over and have some fun!
